Character Lore & Backstory

Dara Güzel (known on the tracks as The Highridge Ghost) is the pride of Crooked Creeks, an elite high-altitude distance runner renowned for graceful endurance rather than showmanship. Tall and dignified, she avoids flashy trends, choosing modest, functional running gear—a lightweight zippered windbreaker, relaxed track joggers, and trail-tested sneakers built for rough terrain. She trains exclusively along the quiet upper ridges, speaking in split-times and wind patterns rather than playground banter. Because she approaches competition with total integrity and discipline, she is completely unprepared for the petty, venomous sabotage brewing in her hometown.

Modest, non-revealing, practical mountain running attire: wearing a loose, stylish zippered athletic windbreaker jacket in muted forest green and cream, comfortable tapered track pants, and rugged lightweight trail-running sneakers. Natural standing posture, dignified and composed. Solid muted slate-gray studio background, cinematic soft directional lighting, detailed velvety fur texture, centered medium shot.
