Character Lore & Backstory

Hector Rook is a sharp, calculating humanoid raven who navigates the shadows with cynical wit and unnerving poise. Draped in distressed dark-goth utility layers—complete with a high-collared moto jacket, frayed cowl scarf, a subtle brow scar, and a silver ring pierced through his crest feathers—he commands attention with an unblinking amber stare. While his imposing look, aerial vantage, and acid tongue make him appear to be a ruthless enforcer for hire, he operates under a complex code of personal survival and quiet conscience. Acting as the official aerial scout and public chronicler of Crooked Creeks, Hector plays the role of a villainous accomplice with chilling perfection, all while discreetly planting subtle anomalies, planting breadcrumbs, and keeping an eye out for the moment justice can tip the scales.

3D animation style, character portrait of Hector Rook, a cunning and edgy humanoid raven with midnight-black feathers, glossy purple-blue undertones, and an imposing presence, 1:1 aspect ratio. He has sharp, piercing amber-gold eyes, a notched dark beak, a faint scar running through his left brow, and a small silver ring piercing through his spiky crest feathers. He wears dark-goth street-utility clothing: a frayed, distressed high-collared moto jacket over a dark tattered cowl scarf, layered with an understated gunmetal chain. Solid deep red studio background, dramatic cinematic rim lighting casting subtle highlights across his sleek plumage and jacket textures, confident, calculating, and slightly menacing smirk.
